This is part of an Art Trade with the immensely talented distressed-mess
In this adventure, her hero-in-distress character, Dex, meets my trio of bad guy characters, Oksana, Flora and Tahni. (And I'm considering it an alternate timeline.
)
It was a lot of fun working with a different sort of character than my usual type. Dex is the sort of guy who should stay out of the fight, but always rushes blindly in ...then seems a bit surprised when things go south and he winds up in trouble again.
It was also enjoyable to see how my own characters would react to the guy. I'm afraid they didn't take him too seriously.

I finally decided to check this out.
The story was wonderfully intriguing. It didn't at all leave me uncomfortable, as I feared it would.
You really captured Dex's personality in the style of his creator.
I really love the diversity among the villains.
I did not see the ending coming at all. How do I even describe it?
