From when I was 16

Here am I

I face myself all around

My soul sits naked in the center
And I'm facing myself all around
I am surrounded by myself
And I don't know who
I want to be

Look, there I am
Behind me, I see me
Wildly out of control
And over there, too
cramped and conforming

From the corner of my eye
There I sit singing on
The bare earth, dreaming
And there I am again
Sad and leaving everyone

My soul

Sits naked
Shivering and simple
In the corner
And I'm facing myself

Crowding me in
Crowding me out

And I don't know who I want to be
