Speak across the miles
I can hear your voice
Playing like a song
To touch me here

Talk to me in letters
Tell me of your life
I can tell you things
I've learned to know

Touch across the miles
For a moment, like you're here
Feels like rushing water
Running clear

Words that feed the spirit
A kindness to the soul
And the sweet words
Of a voice I cannot hear

This speaks of universal human need for some...other....
The lack of the voice is very frustrating. Very.
Each listens, and each needs a listener.
Why isn't the other here....available?
Perhaps for a good reason.
Don't hesitate, tell the other something
without hesitation.
"....Faint Heart ne'er won...." always
was bi-directional.
Does memory not conjure up the other's voice?
Was it ever heard?
