I hope everyone's days are treating them well and life is filled with good things and better people.
It's wonderful to hear from you...and honestly touching to hear how many of you still enjoy my stories. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who took the time to comment and liked my work enough to fav my stories and poems.
I am busy, there's no getting around that, however, my health is better than it was and much of the depression has lifted.
And I would like to hear from you! I am in a LDR & I usually have FaceBook up to communicate with my Significant Other as I am working. Sooo...

The song was over. The sound of instruments playing seemed to wash over me in a wave—but if I were to drown in this life, drowning in the sounds of a song seemed a good way to go. I didn’t want to sit up; I did not want to get up. But time and tides won’t wait for a broken heart or an injured psyche. And that’s just life, I suppose. Not one of us escaped unmarred. I managed to pull myself up to my knees and slowly push myself off of the bed. Ever been so sad that even just standing up is a monumental effort…? (No? Good. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.)
